Content: Aimed at Avionics Engineers and Maintenance staff that are directly involved with the installation and use of Data-link & Flight-deck communication devices. This course is designed to provide attendees with the skills and background knowledge required for operation, setup, troubleshooting and fault isolation of the ICS-120A/220A Iridium Communications System. Attendees will learn how this product interacts with Cockpit Data-Link and Voice Systems in order to provide an integrated communications solution via the Iridium Network.

There is a Wednesday 26th Dinner presentation in Islandia addressing the FANS Mandates and minimum equipage required on the aircraft.
The Dinner presentation is intended to be an upper level overview of FANS and the material will not be covered at the IA course.
